It all began with a fellow named Ives MsGaffney in Chicago who was approached by the Chicago Carpet Cleaning Company to develop a dirt cleaner possibly for commercial use. His research led him to develop what we know today as the vacuum cleaner. His research was seconded by another gentleman names Melville who developed a vacuum cleaning device and presented it to his wife as a gift. Take for instance you lose something like a wedding ring or a precious coin or a key, you can simply vacuum the house and then empty the bag. If your item was on the floor you will easily be able to retrieve it. The bagless cleaners may not make this possible because the bag or canister is securely attached to the machine and the suction force is created to literally obliterate the dirt.
Also because there is a real huge part of the population that still has the old fashioned cleaners, it is easy to get support and advice regarding any support or questions that one might have. This support is in the form of friends and neighbors who even though they may have made the transition to the bagless cleaner, may still possess one or two of the regular cleaners with the cleaners.
